Marketing and Event Planner (Full-Time)

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, host, market, and execute all dealership events for customers and employees
  • Design and develop advertising for our website, text program, Facebook, and print
  • Create a comprehensive dealership marketing plan
  • Create an event follow up plan to use for marketing tool and optimize ROI

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

  • Degree in marketing preferred
  • Two years of progressive experience in event planning
  • Outgoing, professional and personable
  • Graphic design skills working with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Publisher, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced and ever-changing role

  • Driven personality, able to set own goals and deadlines and follow through with them
  • Be able to proficiently work alone and in a team setting
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to direct others to see and fulfill your marketing vision.

Service Porter

This full time, year-round position moves/cleans motorcycles, delivers motorcycles, provides courteous, knowledgeable assistance to technicians, aids in the Service department running efficiently and helps the Service Manager when requested.

Summary Description

  • Provide assistance to Service Department personnel and customers as needed.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Washing Motorcycles.
  • Maintaining the flow of motorcycles to be cleaned.
  • Light building and grounds maintenance.
  • Pick-up and delivery of motorcycles.
  • Assist with keeping the service department clean and organized.
  • Moving motorcycles between reception area, shop, and warehouse.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
  • Assist with dealership events.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.

  • Follow directions.
  • Ask questions when in doubt.
  • Wear appropriate shop uniform each and every day.
  • Maintain professional appearance and attitude.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • Ability to operate a motorcycle.
  • Ability to accept and follow directions.
  • Demonstrated willingness to work flexible hours including Saturdays.

Physical demands

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
  • Requires the use of both hands.
  • Requires the ability to balance and push a 900 + lb. motorcycle.
  • Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift 50 lbs. of material. 

Working Conditions

  • Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
  • Is potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, cleaning chemicals or toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.
  • Occasionally, exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
