Every level starts with the same five things: hand wash, full inspection, heated secured space, fuel additive and a battery tender. After that, you're adding the service you'd be booking in spring anyway.

Get work done, get rewarded
Spend $1,500 or more on installed parts and labor while your bike is in storage, then pick one.
The cam job, the exhaust, the suspension you've been putting off since June — none of it costs you a riding day now. Your bike is already here, and it comes out in spring finished instead of waiting for an appointment.

Everything below counts toward the $300 credit. Pre-approve any of it on your storage agreement and we'll only do the work if a tech finds it's needed.

Work must be authorized before March 1 to qualify. All invoices must be paid within 14 days of service completion to be eligible for the storage credit. No carry-in parts.
How drop-off works
Five steps, and only one of them is on a deadline.
- Reserve your spot
Fill out the reservation form or call Service at 920-750-6910. Payment is expected at reservation, and the storage fee is nonrefundable.
- Bring the bike in when you're done riding
There's no drop-off deadline. Ride it as long as Wisconsin lets you. Storage runs October through April either way. Bring it clean so we can inspect and photograph its condition on arrival.
- Settle up at drop-off
Your package has to be paid at drop-off to get package pricing. If it isn't paid in full, storage bills monthly at $75 for two wheels or $100 for trikes.
- Add service any time it's with us
Call or email and we'll get it on the schedule. Work has to be authorized before March 1 to count toward the $300 credit.
- Schedule your spring pickup
Book at appletonhd.com/winter-storage-pickup at least 48 hours ahead. Everything is out by April 30, or April 29 if the 30th lands on a Sunday.

Military members called to active duty get free Basic storage for the duration of their deployment. Talk to any Service Writer and we'll take care of it.

- The Winter Storage program runs seven months, October through April. Packages must be paid at drop-off to receive package pricing, and the storage fee is nonrefundable. A space isn't held until it's paid.
- Balances unpaid 30 days past a completed work order or invoice carry a 1.5% monthly finance charge. No discounts are given for late drop-off or early pickup.
- Schedule pickup at least 48 hours ahead at appletonhd.com/winter-storage-pickup. Cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment or a $25 restocking fee applies.
- Every motorcycle must be picked up or delivered by end of day April 30, or April 29 if the 30th falls on a Sunday. After that it's $10 per day. If you need more time, call us before April 30.
- The $300 storage credit requires $1,500 or more in installed parts and labor, authorized before March 1, with invoices paid within 14 days of service completion. No carry-in parts. The Split Invoice Payment Plan does not include the credit.
- Your bike must arrive clean so we can inspect and document its condition; we photograph it on arrival. AHD is not liable for damage to the motorcycle or its contents, including items left in saddlebags, unless AHD is solely negligent.
- After long-term storage a battery may not hold a charge even when maintained, particularly if it's more than two years old.
- Keep your motorcycle insurance policy active for the entire storage period.
- Parts removed during service are disposed of unless you pick them up within 30 days of the work being completed.
