The short version
A parking lot full of loaded saddlebags and open trunks
Decorated bikes and autos line up in our lot, pop the back open, and hand out candy to every trick-or-treater who walks by. Add carnival games, a food truck and a staff costume contest, and that's the day. Costumes encouraged for everyone — riders, drivers, kids and grown-ups.
How the day runs. Vehicle registration opens at 9 a.m. and the lot opens to trick-or-treaters at 11. Candy runs until 2, voting closes when the lot does, and best-decorated awards go out at 2:30. Come whenever — there's no program to be on time for.
Trick-or-treating
Walk the rows, say hello, fill the bag. Until 2pm or while supplies last. Bring your own bucket or pillowcase.
Carnival games
Free to play. Kids earn tickets as they go and enter them in a raffle for prizes.
Pick-a-Pumpkin
The grown-up version, inside. First 50 adults. AHD swag from our 50th, Motorclothes coupons, and a Motorclothes basket as the grand prize.
The Wandering Table
Lunch is handled. Every person in costume gets a $10 food coupon, good at the truck that day.

Trophies for the best decorated motorcycle and the best decorated auto. Details below.
Staff costume contest
Our staff dress up too. Vote for your favorite — winner announced at 2:30 on Facebook and Instagram.
Face painting
Free, first come first served. We have one artist, so come early if it's a must-do.
Photo area
A decorated spot to grab a photo of the family before the candy takes its toll. Bring your own phone.
Best decorated
Two categories. Two trophies.
Every registered vehicle is automatically in the running. No extra form, no entry fee — just show up decorated.
Best decorated bike
Any make, any year. Saddlebags, sissy bar, fairing, trailer — if it's attached to the bike, it counts. Bring a bucket or a bag stand so you're not bending over for three hours.
Best decorated auto
Cars, trucks, SUVs, vans. The trunk or tailgate is the canvas. Themes, lights and full build-outs all welcome — the more there is to look at, the better.

How to hand out candy
Registration is free and happens the day of. The one thing to know: we close the lot down at 11 for everyone's safety, so come early.
Registration opens at 9 a.m.
Free, same day, nothing to sign up for ahead of time. Arrive before 11. Once families start walking the rows we close the lot down for everyone's safety, so we're not able to place vehicles after that.
Check in at the entrance
Give us your name and vehicle at the check-in table on your way in. Takes a minute, and puts you on the ballot for best decorated.
Bring candy
Bring a few bags of your favorite. Individually wrapped only. Non-candy options like stickers or glow bracelets are always a hit with the allergy families.
Stay through the awards
No engines running and no vehicles leaving while kids are walking the lot. Awards are at 2:30, so plan to be there until then — we'll call the all-clear when it's safe to pull out.
Setup, space and power
You'll have about a parking space and a half to work with. There's no power in the lot and no generators — anything that lights up needs to run on its own batteries, and no open flame or candles. Staff will place you in the rows; autos back in so the trunk or tailgate faces the walking lane, and kickstand pucks are a good idea if the asphalt is warm. Whatever you bring in, take back out with you.

Weather
Rain or shine. We only cancel for dangerous conditions, and we'd post it here and on Facebook.
Strollers & wagons
Bring them. The lot is flat, paved and easy to walk with little ones.
Restrooms
Inside the dealership, open the whole event. Changing tables in both the men's and women's restrooms.
While supplies last
Candy and food coupons run until they're gone. Pick-a-Pumpkin is capped at the first 50 adults. Come early if there's something you don't want to miss.
Dress warm
It's a Wisconsin parking lot in late October. Layers under the costume.
